I have a 20g tall tank that needs fish and the fish will need to go into a 55g with a pair of electric blue acaras.
Would panda corydoras and some type of tetra do fine or should I just have the corys?

Cories should be good. If tetras I would say skirts are the best bet. They are the most peaceful large tetra.

I’ve had experience with EBA, they seem really peaceful, more so compared to regular blue acaras. The cories would work. Really any kind of small tetra or barb would work if it’s a 2 inch max fish. If you grow the acara and tetras together, then they will probably coexist.

Tetras can go well with electric blue acaras as long as they aren’t small enough to fit in their mouths.
