20gal puffer tank

I have a 20 gallon tank and want some puffers in it. Any suggestions? I'm thinking a couple of dwarfs, or maybe figure 8's. Any advice?
 
South American and Dwarf puffers do well in groups. If you want a solo "wet pet" type of puffer, try a hairy puffer...they are quite amusing!
 
I stand corrected. I just picked it up from a buddy who was using it for a gecko, turns out it a 10gal tank.
 
Be sure you only get 1 male or all females. 2 males will fight to the death. Heavily decorate, too, so they all have territories.

I went to my LFS and the owner didn't even know what I was talking about. He seems convinced that a figure 8 puffer is the smallest in the trade. Without the ability to pick them out myself I'll probably order some from Liveaquaria.com. Do you know if they can send specific genders?
 
You might want to tell them what to look for but it's still a gamble.
