20gal sump on 180gal

Would I benefit from this along side an 1800lph canister, I only ask this as this is the only size tank I could slip in without removing the center brace bar in between the doors

of course you would, 20G is still bigger than most premed filters.

Cool thank you, now it's just the job of DIY overflow

Could I get away with 1" plumbing... What gph/lph power head would suit 1" without being overkill
