210 Center Brace Questions

So I forgot the center brace...

I was thinking about L - bracketing a center brace in but am wondering if its nessary?

Any suggestions, input, and thoughts are welcome before I put up close to a ton of weight in the living room.

What I would do:
Red lines are horizontal brace 2x6s, blue lines are vertical support 2x6s. Sorry for crude rendering.

There are going to be several opinions here. An engineer will give you a perfect answer. I will give you the practical answer that I have never seen anyone regret a brace or two.

I am an engineer but computer engineer.

I agree with above comment. I don't seen anything to loose with extra brace(s). I would say add one on top and one on bottom.

BTW, my store bought 75 gallon stand has one in middle on top and bottom is covered.

I never built a stand myself, the one that I got built for my 230 gallon was metal one and I added full cover on top.

Extra braces added and we are good to go! Currently 4x my largest tank and hopefully will allow me to shut down and combine 6 other tanks.

Thank you, crazy to be on this end of the message boad for a change. About 2 years in the making. Cant tell you how many angel's and pleco's I have sold to get here but I am maintaining the goal of a free hobby currently.

Plan to off load the remainder of my stock and equipment soon to bring the enjoyment back into the hobby after it essentially became a second job.
