I am in the process of stocking my new 210 gallon.

My current stocklist includes:

1 6" LMB
1 6" Channel Cat
3 4" Green Sunfish
1 10" Gibby Pleco

I would like to add:

5 4" Bluegill
3 6" Black Bullheads

Tank is currently filtered about 3.5 times per hour with 50% weekly waterchanges to keep nitrates at 20ppm currently. I will upgrade filtration by adding an FX5 when I start a part time job in 2 weeks...

Tank will be disassembled and the fish put in my uncle's private farm pond in 1 1/2 years when I leave for Duke...

i think that bullheads are territorial and would fight though it could be just certain type of bullhead or i might be wrong. i would toss in some more LMB

I know bullheads (black and yellow) are fairly aggressive, but I think the footprint should be ok for only a few bottom dwellers....

i have a black bullhead with my rtc and there fine

get a chain pickeral.

Cool.

No chain pickeral though. Not native to Northeast Kansas, and I want to keep fish native from my local lakes/rivers.....

just curious, could we see some pics of the tank?

Absolutely. I will start a thread in the Photo Lounge and post a link here tomorrow after I do a water change...

Rock bass and SMB, crappie

personally i would just skip the LMB and do a rocky tank with SMB crappie and some sunnies
