I have honestly had pretty good luck with aggressive fish in communities as long as the aggro fish was dominant and never got challenged. I have way better outcomes w/ 1 aggressive fish and 3-5 semi aggressive but robust fish. Lyonsi, snook, and Oscars are the kind of fish I'm referring too. Adding more than one really aggressive cichlid is when the blood baths start. All you can do is experiment. Just have a backup plan.

I would put a jaguar in there, a red devil, a jack dempsey, a salvini, and maybe some type of veija.

It really depends on how aggressive your butti is. If your butti is crazy mean which most are, than good luck with putting anything with them.

I my experience butti's are too vicious to be kept with anything.
