currently an walmart oscar i rescued from a 10g home tank is residing in a 90g, but iam gonna move him to my 210g 72 x 24 x 30 once it is set up(have) so iam curious what would make a good stocking list for a 210g with one oscar. (the 90 will be converted to a reef because i have the lighting for a 4ft reef)

A nice group of large Geophagus (altifrons, surinamensis) would be awesome in that size tank. Maybe 2-3 severum (rotkiel) and/or a hoplarchus psittacus if you have more acidic water.

A pair of colorful pikes, like atabapos, would be awesome too!

Non cichlids...plecos, bichirs, catfish (maybe a bolt cat)

Most of my cichlids ignored non cichlid tankmates...not all but most of em

If you have 1 Oscar, maybe a few more would be a good idea? A 210g would be fine for 3-4 of them. Then like jaws said go non cichlid with large catfish (oscars are very messy and something to clean up the bottom of the tank is always a good idea) and birchirs on the bottom. Would make a facinating predator tank.
