Don't know much about rifles, but I was watching preppers and the guy who shot his own thumb... what type of semi-automatic rifle is that? Looks fun to shot. Anyone know?

The kid in the foreground has a Ruger 10/22. I can't tell what gun that is in the background. Might be another 10/22 and it might be a GSG-5.
I have a Ruger 10/22 and yes, they are fun to shoot. They're pretty inexpensive and you can customize the crap out of them.

Both are 10/22 the one in the background is sporting either a Nordic or archangel kit or the factory ruger Sr22 (10/22 factory assembled in the Nordic kit). Best semi auto .22 ever and yea you can do all kinds of stuff to them.
