220 filtration

ok i had 3 aquaclear 500s on my 220 and my water stayed clean but not clear. so i did some rearanging and now have 1 aquaclear 500/the largest penguin biowheel filter they make and a magnum 350 canister filter so hopefully that should do it.

You might try doubling up on the sponges in your 500s.

I personally like cannister filters to polish the water. Your on the right track with the 350.

Convert your power filters into Mechanical FIlters....Have that canister of yours devoted to biological filtration...But, have the bottom chamber filled with sponge still....
