Any more details aswell, i was looking in to making a 1300g from steel frame and sheet metal and sealing with epoxy paint and G4 pond seal inside.

i coated it with urethane and epoxy paint on top of that. i did have some trouble with epoxy paint lifting where i applied the ge 1 for the glass panel. had to remove panel and remove all the urethane and epoxy from the area i was placing the glass panel. and i used the 3m 5200 instead of ge 1.
no problems thus far.
one thing about the metal tank is welding!!!
my little 220 was over 40' of weld. i used 3/16 angle iron and 16 gauge sheet metal and only welded the interior. ge 1 on the outside of all the seems
 
How long has it been up and running?

Thats the only bit, the welding, there will be a lot of it will be needed for my tank, but then its a good welding project. Your look great kida, did you get any distortion in the sheets with the welding as its only think sheet you used.
