Quarantine Tank
Ran across this for those in the area ( Santa Cruz - Cali) and possibly interested, sounds like a killer deal! Thou, i did not know how to create a link, you will have to hunt for in on craigslist, contact info provided thou!!

"I have a custom made acrylic tank that holds approximately 220 gallons that I need to get rid of. Tank measures approx. 8'x 1.5'x 2'. Has a custom built open framed stand (about 9 feet wide), the top surface for the tank to rest on is some kind of formica. Has a wood canopy. Tank is in good condition, does not leak, a few MINOR scratches that could probably be repaired. There is built in pipe inlets and outlets, perfect for a serious enthusiast, or for a store show tank. I am asking $250 for the tank, canopy and stand, or I am willing to trade for a 75 gal with stand. Pictures available for serious inquiries."

Acrylic even. With stand and canopy. Santa Cruz is not that far from Southern California. Only about 4 hours drive, wait..yeah, 4 hours. That's near Monterey Bay, right? I dunno about my diesel. It'd prolly take me 8 hours on that big heavy truck. 2500HD Duramax. I need more room!!!aarrrggghh!

why is he trading a 220 for a 75...thats a hell of a good deal though

200 Gallon 8 feet long 1.5 feet deep 2 fee tall
Includes expensive wooden stand with massive storage room. Easy access with four doors. Tank has solid blue backing, screen tops, and florecent lights. I originally bought the tank for $300 and had the stand custom built for $250. Our baby is on the way so we must make room fast.

i belive its a terrarium and not a tank.........but who knows i e-mailed the guy

I finally got this tank this past weekend :woot: the dimensions came out to be 8x2x1.5 When I told her that I was a school teacher thinking about putting it in my classroom , it sealed the deal (there were lots of others trying to get it also).

The stand is super basic, I just have to put some cabinets on it and stain the thing. Im probably going to put in some rays and clown loaches, maybe a blk. aro. Now I just have to save up for a wet/dry filter system, but its killing me to have this tank be empty for so long!!!

Damn, how did I miss that ad? My Burundi Frontosa would have loved it. Got any pics?
