I put a piece of slate in my tank for my geo's to possibly breed on and my oscar did the same thing for a day. Just running into and biting it lol

just had my oscars spawn, but alas pleco or BKG ate the eggs.

If its the first time they have spawned it was probably the parents, they seem to always eat them the first time.

The Oscar is a she --she's 4 almost 5. Her egg tube keeps dropping, and when it does that rock gets a beating. She dropped eggs about a year ago when I had another Oscar in there with her...nothing came of it, and I re-homed the other Oscar. Jag is female--hoping she gets along with everyone..so far so good ---The Geo's I'm hoping for a pair. Still a young tank...as you all know things change in a blink of an eye with cichlids lol

Just a quick update on some of the fish in the large tank...If you can confirm the sex on something besides the Green Texas, Convict, and Oscar lemme know
