Yea I figured that.. There alot of mix reviews about these cichlid and there temperament

Blast from the past. I am several tanks and a couple moves past that 220...

I never grew any grammodes large enough (8"+) for them to cause problems. Pretty skittish at smaller sizes.

Not sure if this was the same Regani that came my way via Lloyd? If so that male became a beast. When it hit 13" it started to terrorize my 300. The 16" female Pearsei couldnt keep him in check anymore. He developed a nice nuchal hump and some outrageous color. Sadly had to rehome it.

At the time I didnt have the tank space to keep it. I do miss its color and attitude.

Yeah, same fish. I got it from Sam (Vancouver9xxx on here) and then Madness came down and picked up several fish including the regani after I had it for a year or so. There were two of them, but that one was always the better looking one.
