Here is a couple of pics of a tank that I have been working on this week. I got the plumbing done and am working on the wireing. Equipment used: RPS 3000 protien skimmer, dart pump (3600gph), 2 Kralias (3600gph), 30g sump/refugium, Dual 250W HQI Ballast, 400W Ballast, 2 Metal Hallide pendants, 4 4ft VHO Atinics. I will update this thread as I go and any advice/tips are welcomed.

I really like the tank but feel bad for you. You are gonna get flamed b/c you are putting a shark (even a Cat Shark) in something less than 600 gallons to 10,000 gallons. Seriously, I can almost hear them coming now, your a horible person and how dare you, etc... Thank god you didnt say you were buying a requiem shark. You may want to delete your post before its too late.
 
I never can gauge the size of those corner tanks too well. They always seem smaller than they really are, but good luck.
 
It is a nice tank but definitely too small for a shark, especially a Gray Bamboo. Get your asbestos suit on.....

This site won't flame some too bad. However, they will tell you the truth when it comes to keeping sharks. If you can't handle the truth, shark keeping isn't for you.
 
Sweet, I'm assuming with my limited knowledge that it will take about 1 1/2 yrs for a gray bamboo to get that length and it will be an excuse to buy another tank. Finding money is not the issue it's convincing the gf to let me put in the house, another obstacle is windows, there are way too many windows in this house and am afraid of the tank over heating.
On another note I will be in Singapore for the month of September and was hoping to score Live Rock for really cheap. Does anyone know of any LFS down there where I could purchase for cheap and ship back to NE USA
