I have found a 220 for a great price, and i was going to start setting its filtration before i get it. It is currently a salt water tank that is reef ready and i have just had a brief convo with the guy, and i believe it just comes with hood stand and the tank, so i am going to need to set up a sump. I was hoping to collect all the pieces that i would need to configure the sump. So if you guys could help me out with a supply list so i could start to get it together because i have never done this before. Then we will go from there...

Sump I use a rubbermaid on my 125 gallon FOWLR tank, a return pump, bulkheads, loc-line for returns, union valves if you want them on your return to regulate flow, etc...I just got my sump/refugium online and am playing with the water depth right now to find the best depth for the skimmer and make sure I have enough drain back before the hole in my return breaks siphon.
If the tank is reef ready, it should have overflows already built into the tank, you might want to give him a call back and confirm this and find out the size of the overflows. That will help you determine your sump size.
