Hey all,

Haven't checked in here for... well over a year. But, with the subzero temps outside I've found some spare time. Thought I'd share a pic of my 220gal that is setup to "replicate" a portion of Lachua Lake in Guatemala. This is a relatively old pic and was taken sometime early last year I believe. Scape has remained mostly the same besides the odd branch that gets moved around by the ever growing pair of pearsei. I've also sold off the school of Buenos Aires tetras and will be replacing the group of T. meeki for a group of C. robertsoni that I currently have in quarantine. The other stock, a pair of C. pearsei and a group of T. pasionis will remain along with a lone BN pleco that occasionally makes an appearance.

I'm sure I'll have to rip the thing apart to catch the group of T. meeki (and thin out the T. pasionis) so I'll most likely do a rescape before introducing the C. robertsoni. I'll try and keep this thread updated.

Beautiful!! What is your lighting setup like? It almost looks like light pouring out of a hole in a cave. Really nice.

In regards to the questions about the lighting..

Lighting consists of a 48" Current Satellite Pro LED+ that's dimmed to a custom setting, as well as a white LED spotlight which is what's giving off that appearance.

Thanks for the compliments.

This is a really nice tank.
