2217 ehiem good price??

i found one for sixty bucks
so its either have that and my fluval 304 on my 120 or trade my fluval for a sump and buy a pump for it ...
i have some dirty fish so i need somethin that is goin to handle alot of amonia.
what do you guys suggest ???

I just ordered a brand new one on sale for $145, so as long as it's got all the parts, and it works i would say good deal.

60 bucks for a fully loaded 2217 is a great price. the cheapest you can find them online is 90 bucks (without the delivery fee) and with the bare bones filter media. add in the cost of shipping and more media and you're easily over 120 bucks.

so my original statement still stands. a fully functional 2217 full of media for 60 bucks is a steal.

go back and read the OP post, and you show me where he mentioned whether it was "fully loaded", "fully functional" or "full of media" . . . if that is true, then that is an example of my statement, it depends on the condition . . . that would be very good condition indeed

he might be getting just a bare-bones unit - - no media, no quick-disconnect taps, etc. - - and it may be several years old; I don't know, and neither do you
