thanks, ill keep you all posted, unfortunately gotta wait that week for it to cure, gonna be tough, but hopefully worth it. i have come to the conclusion, that it pays to be tidy with silicone lol, cleaning it off glass proves to be a fun challenge

Nice build-----masking tape on both sides of the vertical silicone beads works wonders. You tape it off, squirt the silicone down the bead, use the back of a plastic spoon to spread it out, and remove tap, your done and it looks professional.

Thickness of glass vs height? looks thin for the height. Is this a reef setup?

its 1/2" glass 2 wide 3 high, double railed top, double railed bottom, and yes this is planned as a reef setup. its one of those questionable thicknesses but i have faith in it with the amount of bracing im doing. and of course, that 70's show is awesome, makes me feel at home in my 70's home lol
