came back from a 3 week trip to England and saw that a few of my fish had really progressed while I was gone. the syn actually shows colour now which is pretty good.

edit/ im just messing around with the title being the same as another, before anyone points it out.

Thanks Tayler. the cichlid community on this site is going further down hill when you get one post and 60+ views. maybe if I had the word festae in the title people might comment

Hey bro, your fish is beautiful and gorgeous! I wish I can bring mine over and they can you know what I mean? Very nice, I like it.

Remember talking to me about Nics Strat? Yours turned out beautifully :)
And that choc cichlid explains why they are called emerald cichlid in Germany ;)

Yeah i've always known them as Emerald cichlids too. the only ones that are chocolatey are the Rio Negro chocolates (coryphenoides or something similar.

I always remember people who I chat to on her Chub_by so of course I remember you! thanks, i was only gone 3 weeks but the blue really starts to be showing on the nic. when I left he was a uniform light gold sheen all over. I'm most impressed with the syn though as that fish has been almost completely black since I got it in December.

I left my fish for a week recently and the change was huge so I can't imagine 3 weeks!

Good to see the fish are all coming along. Not usually a fan of viejas but that lovely! Any updates on the O and the GT? Mind me asking where in the UK you were?

The oscar is doing great, hes fattened out while I was gone and is actually perfectly fine despite missing an eye. as for the GT, I had a bout of ich (white spot) just over a month ago, and sadly the GT and 1 columbian tetra were the only casualties. which is a shame, but im just glad I didn't lose more.

I went to Swansea (south wales) to visit my GF, she goes to university there and boy can I tell you it rained for 3 weeks non stop. was great to come back here and its been 24c-30c since I got back.

Thanks for complimenting the Vieja, I wasn't sure wether to get rid of it when I sold the Bifa but I'm glad I kept it now.
