Hi, I'm looking to restock my 6' x 2' x 2.5' tank which currently has African cichlids in it. I want a aggressive or semi-aggressive tank with very active, engaging, interesting fish. I would like some plecostomus, catfish, and larger cichlids like 10-14 inches. I am interested in these fish but am not sure of the dynamic of aggression and compatibility between them as I have little experience with aggressive communities.

Tinfoil barbs (not sure about these as they aren't even as/ca but people say they are great with large cichlids)

Mango Pleco
Midas cichlid

Any other suggestions are welcome and I'm not sure if my plecos and catfish are large enough to put up with some larger cichlids. Also bio load is not really an issue as I have a 40 gallon sump with 10+ times turnover rate
