Decided to remove all aquatic plants and only keep the emersed plants at the top. The hornwort and the water hyacinth didn't work out.

Inhabitants:
- C. Cincta pair
- Astronotus Ocellatus Bahia Red pair
- Heros cf. Severus Atabapo pair
- Hoplarchus Psitticas
- Cichla Orinocensis Rio Inirida pair

Nobody wanted to buy the Orinocensis so I decided to throw them in here as they are still relatively small.

Wow, easily one of the best tanks I've ever seen, so many awesome species. Wish we could get pikes here in Australia lol

I really like those plants and the way it looks. What are they?
You're not worried about all the roots and wood work scraping the fish once they start to it some size on. It looks really nice but I can see it getting restricting for them.

The only fish I'll have to unload are the Orinocensis. I'm not feeding them heavy and I keep my tank at 79 so j have at least 9 months before I have to sell.

All other fish are full grown except for the hoplarchus. When I get rid of the Orinocensis, my stock and dimensions should be fine.

The plants are pothos, peace lillies (Spathyphyllum ), spider plants, and diffenbachia. All can be found for cheap at home depot.

Love the set up. How did you do the back? Very nature look.

What type of lighting do you have on the pothos. I really want to add them to my pleco tank along with te decorative bamboo like plant sold at all the plant stores (they seem to do well partially submerged).
Lighting is what's holding me back.

I have a universal rocks background silicone to the back glass. Against the background I have wood branches positioned to create a shelf for planting of the plants.

Very cool. I've been considering doing plants like that.
