I just got a 225 gallon tank but I am worried the floor in my house will not hold it up. Anyone else have any experience with this? It will set against a side wall which if I understand correctly is a load bearing wall. It is a glass tank and I figure with sand, water, the stand and other sundries is will weigh well over a ton.

If you can get under the house and strap the floor joists wit 2x10s on each side about a foot past the front of the tank the grab a couple of short post Jacks

So put floor jacks under the tank? Not much room under there but if it's the only way...

This tank may end up on my carport, I am 60 and I am not sure I have the ability to do this myself but thanks for answering me, I don't know if my landlord would accept me doing this, he's a pretty good guy but there are limits.
