They have been, I went to jail oce as well (don't ask either) but didn't have a cellphone at the time. I think ABC repoerted on these 3-4 years ago.

they have been out for at least 5 yrs. They are illegal in the united states and police have found weapons like this for years, ive seen lip stick guns, pen guns, ...you name it, it can be turned into a weapon
