Caught in the Ohio River, he was my biggest catch all year; wish I would have got a 90 or so. Lol, I was tired and didn't feel like smiling for the pics; was fishing for about 9 hours with very little sleep.

Thanks! He put up a really good fight, my arms were sore after getting this one in; which makes me wonder what it would be like to catch a 50+ pounder.

Catfish are solid fish.
In theory biggest catfish are in the south but I don't believe that as biggest cat pics I have seen like yours are from cold weather states.
Must have felt like a Cinder block at end of that line.
Nice catch!! Cabella's in Michigan has a monster flathead that looks like it could swallow a child. It's sweet!

Edit - We catch a lot of longnose gar too, must see hundreds of them every time I go fishing... Sadly they are all to big to catch and keep as a pet. I was thinking about netting them and seeing if anyone would want to pick them up, since gars are rare at our LFS.
