24"+ fire eel compatible w 3" Datnoid?

Hello, I would like to know if a 24"+ fire eel will be ok with 3" datnoids?

i wouldnt trust the eel the one i had used to eat minnows that were an inch and a half and mine was only 12 " so scale that up and id say it would eat the dats but i dont know that for sure.
