24 inch lights on a 30 inch tank?

i have a 29 gallon tank that i need to put some pc lights on and the place i want to get them from only has 24 inch fixtures in stock, http://www.aquatraders.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=309

how do i put these on a 30 inch tank?

You dont need to cpover every corner of your tank when it comes to lighting. The light holder thing could just rest on the covers.

yeah, i have two 24" lights on a 7' tank and also a 47" light
doesnt matter how big it is

if your saying it's to short, get a piece of glass long enough and set it on it.

so if i get a glass lid and just set the light on it it will be fine? how hard would it be to mount this in a canopy?

put a piece of glass down, and lay on top... you don't need every inch covered...but depends on the lighting you want, and if you have live plants... but I wouldn't worry about it..just get a glass top, or make your own plastic/acrylic top
