I have a 26g Bowfront that I would like to add some Cichlids. I made a 3d backrund for it. I would like to NOT add a heater. Min temp is 68* in winter.

Is there any pair of small SA Cichlids that will be comfortable in here.

Gymno Rhabdotus group maybe?

I would imagine no, And I will end up adding a heater and go dwarf route.

Thanks....Bill

I'd definitely go with a pair of rams in that tanks. You could add a whole bunch of interesting amazonian types too. Cardinals, otos, hatchets, whatever would compliment your rams.

Ya. I think I will add a heater. I never had great luck with Rams.

I diid plan on Cardinals and cories.

Which Apisto pair (or other species) should I be looking at?

msjinkzd just had a thread with some awesome apistos you could consider. The blue species she has was ridiculous

couldnt a pair of red ceibals be ok in that tank? (not experienced with them so not sure how much space they need or their max size but i thought they only got like 4-5in) they wouldn't need a heater

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Awesome fish, with some amazing colors.

A. borellii are awesome apistos! I have a pair in a 20g and they are very well behaved with the other tetras and tankmates. I've heard borellii can get mixed up with "steel blue" so make sure you get them from a reputable dealer.
