Well it seems that my aro has jumped hard enough to rupture his swim bladder.

He is breathing normal but his head is at the bottom of the tank and his tail is at the top. Not good . I am thinking of putting him down but wanted some advice from the MFK pro's first

any help would be great

Is the head really down, or you just notice that it has a buyoancy problem, with the tail having a tendency to come up?

straight up to the top

Sorry to say, but a headstand is one of the worst things you can see your aro do.

Please try to add salt to the water ( 2 spoons per 5 gallons ) and increase temps and oxigenation.
