240/300 Overstocked?

Would this list be too much for an 8' long 2' wide tank? Which do you think could become the most aggressive in the long run? I'm tired of the stressful glass banger fish. I want some chilled CA/SAs.

That sounds like a pretty awesome stocklist. I'm not familiar with the temperaments of the individual fish to each other though. Have you considered v. argentea?

id probably take out the severum but really depends on the individual personality of the fish, like if it's tough enough to survive with those other fishes.

I would think the syn or lyonsi would be the most aggressive, and maybe too much for the severum but lots of sevs seem to be able to defend themselves (I don't hear about them getting murdered much on here anyway). I think that group would be fine in a 240.

Nice setup and stock list, but whats stressfull about a glass banger? Just get think enough glass and you'll be fine.

Lyonsi are extremely passive. I would say more so than a severum or Pearsi. Although Pearsi are very passive as well.

I had one of those. My Trimac killed it. I do have a regani that I could add, but I would prefer to have it understocked if anything. I want to keep the tank very calm. I have all of those fish now and there are only 3 of them that are moderately aggressive.
