I want to set this tank up with a fast current like Amazon River. I have a pump that does 2200 GPH is that too much powerhead? Any advice on the setup would be great?

the best setup for this I've seen was on this site, somewhere. powerheads on one side of the tank with pvc running under the substrate to sponged intakes on the opposite side. anybody know that thread?
I think that pump would be ok, as long as they have something to get behind for some peaceful flow time.
I'd try it in different directions. running along the front, then along the back, to see where the fish tend to congregate. it would be cool to have the flow down the front of the tank to see them playing in the flow right up front, but I wouldn't expect them to be in that spot the majority of the time.

Seemed the 2200 gph was to much so i added a 2500 rio for 900 gph and that worked fine. In my research i did learn something cool. That more pumps you run dont increase the current they just increase the width ha.
