So I have a 240 gallon tank 8'x2' and I like the looks of black sand substrate. My questions to you guys are....where on earth do I find enough black substrate to fill the bottom. And because the top of my acrylic tank is sealed and only accessible by three separate 18" by 6" holes how do I get bigger pieces of driftwood in? Am I just gunna have to settle with smaller pieces? I feel the impulse to cut the holes bigger but I don't want to devalue and weaken the tanks strength.
