240 gallon DIY and stand HELP

im in the planning stage of my newest creation im wanting to build a 240 gallon 4x4x2 acrylic. i have never built a tank before but i am very good with my hands i think im up for the challenge. i need some input on whre i should start hints tips anything. im probably going to build the stand in a simalare way that i built my stand for my 125 gallon. im wanting to use a 75 gallon that i have as a sump but not to sure how to convert it into a sump. also im wanting it to be a reef tank when it is all said and done and not 100% sure how i should do the plumming. i having found a picture of a simalare tank that someone had built and ill post it and pictures of my 125 gallon stand... please help and does anyone know of any good acrylic suppliers in the denver area.

Get on the internet and type in acrylic sheets in your area. I am in the process of putting together an 6x4. Try to calculate how many sheets of 4'x8' acrylic you will need to make your tank. They will only sell by the sheet. Ask if they can make precision cuts within 1/8 of an inch. Be absolutely sure it's CELL CAST acrylic. Be happy to answer what I can, PM me.
