Anyone see a problem with this list?

Melanurus
Pearsi
Lyonsi
2 Synspilum
Bocourti
Bifaciatum
Guttalatum
Amarillo
Trimac

I might pull the last 2 if their aggression gets out of hand. Let me know what you think.

i would definitely skip one of the last two to begin with, and pull the other if need be.

Thats kind of what I was thinking. I'm thinking that I may need to pull the Trimac.

im more worried about the amarillo but that is from personal experience with a fish that i didnt raise in a community from a baby. i got the fish at 10". he is an out and out killer. anything that is bad ass enough to kill an 18" pleco when it is only abou 10" is a bad mofo.

yeah thats pretty bad ass nice fish though i want one or a chancho, i see no problem with the stock list just add plenty of cover for them i bet the trimac will be boss. good luck sounds verry cool

Well I already have them all growing out in a 125. They are starting to get a descent size though. The amarillo is the boss, but the Trimac isn't scared of anything and he is small. The only things that I will be adding to the tank are the Pearsei, another Synspilum, and Melanurus.

Ok here is the deal. It was a war zone. I removed the Gutalattum, Amarillo, and Trimac. Not sure where the other fish are going to go.

I like your list. A 240 is pretty large, but having multiple vieja may still prove troublesome. What i've been told is that vieja tend to pick on each other as do other cichlids of the same genus. IE Parachromis sometimes dont do so well with different Parachromis.

if you decide to remove some of the vieja, i personally would keep the 2 synspilum and hope for a pair, at least that way you can have 2 of the 4 vieja that are on the list

ahaha his signature is quoted from the great Dmaan.
