240 SA / Severum Tank Journal

My 240 is currently undergoing a transition from the 240 Viejas to South American. The goal is to focus on Severums with other SA sprinkled in, depending on what I can find.

Here's the video I captured last week, documenting the start of the transition. At this point I just purchased two beautiful Red Shoulder Sevs:

Since then, I've acquired 3 more Res Spotted Sevs (making the total to 5 Sevs) and moved a bunch of Sysnpilums. Here are some photos. I plan on doing better photography at a later date.

Added today, a group of 5 tiny geos, not sure exactly which ones they are but they are so much fun to watch and instantly explored the tank. And 3 more small 2" gold severums. Stocking will cease at this point.

Not an expert with Geophagus, but I would guess Altifrons at this point in time.

However googling it up, it doesn't, so... Regardless, geos are so much fun! Can't believe I've never kept them before.

They look like altifrons to me. I have a few LFS purchased fish from a store in your neighborhood, and they have grown up to be stunners!!

Nice! Where did you buy these from? And what are you feeding them?

I got them at 405 Tropical. I feed them NLS sinking pellets, Hikari sinking pellets, and Hikari Vibra Bites.
