ok im still not shure wat too stock up for my tank. i was wondering wat theme to give it too. i defiantely want a silvr aro in there but not so shure on wat to put with it. wat fish do u guys keep in a 240g? pictures would help(include filter plz)

Whats the filtration plans / cycling method ?
I would go with some cool cats and aro's maybe cliche but that's just what I like. You could do a massive south American setup
I would use 2 fx5's on that and at least one ac110. JMO though. If you got the money that eheim cant remember number of the model but it runs 900 gph would be sweet plenty of bio media.

go with cichlids, but something less common like Paratilapia, which have tons of personality, and aren't something you see in everybody's tank.
Before you stock you tank you should consider some questions
how much care do you intend to, or are willing to give of your time ...i.e some fish requier more than others.
what kind of fish tickles your fancy ..the big and the beautifull or the odd balls
not saying that every fish does not have its own beauty but we have to admit some look stanger than others.
what kind of filtration are you going with?
