I was just wondering what recommendations you have to go in with 5 severums and 3 blood parrots.

Only one big one is needed.

I was thinking of a green terror/gold saum, would that be too aggressive?
 
H. Bocourti or H. Pearsei. Both get 18"(ish) and are peaceful most of the time. A GT should work if you get a juvi and grow it out with the sev's.

Even if I get a juvi, there's still a big risk of them going berserk when they grow right?
 
After looking at a decent number of pictures, I don't think they really impress me though. There is no contrast in their colors.

Only a small portion of them seem very striking. I will keep an eye out however for the good looking ones with the black bar across(I think they're the ones that stay small though: 6"?).

I don't know, perhaps I should just throw in a juvi gold saum in there.

I won't get the green terror then. Thank you.

They are beautiful fish, the viejas. I have been looking for those but they are hard to find.

I'm looking for something around the Amazon/South America from where the severums are though.
