If anyone on whittier or nearby city wanna help me out just give me a heads up. I need this done as fast ASAP! cause my grandparents are coming back from japan and they dont know I have upgrade!

The return I dont what to do. I have never seen that before and dont know how to properly to get the proper fitting.
The drainage bulkhead is 1inch or 1/2. I better at visualizing then telling.

Is there dual overflows? Do you have the sump already? Hope your grandparents don't kill you haha

Kai, I'd give ya a hand if I didn't already have a packed schedule bro. But right off the bat, I know it's not what you want to hear but you've gotta get some more support under that tank bro. It looks like there is an unsupported portion toward the end and I would try to give some torsional support to the existing uprights at the least. Gram and Gramp would REALLY be mad if 240 gallons hit the deck. Be careful bro and try not to rush it.

Dang! lol man, yeah I know about the stand Im not gonna use it...Gonna go with the ciderblocks instead.then just lay a 8ft board that is aline with the tank.

For sump and stand Im not worried about that.....Its just the tubing for the bulkhead fitting which I am kinda still wondering?

i know its a pain but you should build a stand from scratch. tank weight plus weight of water is alot!

yeah im just gonna do a ciderblock stand, and run my sump.

What do you guys think. I am little worried on the open part where the sump is. Kinda still thinking about that spot but what do you guys think?

Looks good :)

Well my understanding from the one picture

the bigger hole on the left, you will need an elbow or so and that will run to the front of your sump. THEN

depending how the tank is setup, the little hole on the right is the return hole ( connect the pump to this hole ) or its a back up drain hole if the pipe on the inside of the tank is higher then the big pipe (hope that makes sense)

If the 2nd way is how its setup you will need to plumb your pumps return over the glass using elbows.

so pretty much you want

- elbows of both sides 2-4

PVC pipe both size 1-2 M worth

Threaded - non threaded fitting ( connects to the bulk head if theres a thread then you can push a pipe in there)

you may want a valve but I personally dont use them on the dump-return lines.

The return is built inside the overflow(used to be a SW tank) For the drainage I got pvc that threads onto the bulkhead and etc, the return is from what I believe 1.25 that needs to be threaded on, but I think 1.25 is good. Where the sump I added a 2x4 to support that open part, so I think its good now. :)

have you test filled the tank? make sure your overflow is sealed tight. make sure you use ball valves. other than controling waterflow there a must for a fail safe.

I have not test filled the tank, which is what is getting me most scared rigt now, but hopefully is good 2 go. do you have a picture on what ball valves look like, never seen those or didnt look but Ill check that out before I go out again.
