I have a 240G tank (8'x2'x2') filtered by a 110G sump. I've been using the tank to house a bunch of oddball fish (mostly bichirs) but want to rehome them and go back to keeping cichlids (I miss the action).
I can get my hands on half a dozen juvie WC umbees or festae to grow out. I really like the idea of ultimately having a large fish (perhaps a pair) in the tank. From what I've read a pair of festae would likely work. Could I pull it off with the umbees? They're incredible fish and have been on my wish list for a while.
