Hi, i currently have a 240gal aquarium with a oscar , 3 large silver dollars, 1 giant danio, and a common pleco. This tank has a divider with a large trimac on the other side that i am planning on selling. What would be a good interesting catfish to add, i have 2 striped raphs that i never see. I want something fairly large but not too big. Would a sailfin cat do well in there?

Thanks in advance, Jordan

tig

Those all looks nice, ive only seen a lima before, whats the cost of the jurnese and the tig, they look like they would be expensive?

I've seen an average of 200 bucks for a Tig.

I believe a salfin would be ok...as for tig/lima/juruense, I wouldn't. They get too big (3'+)to keep in that size tank. I have a fullgrown achara...similar to a sailfin, and it's longer that the tank is wide (tank is a 265g...24" wide}. I'm considering my options for getting a bigger tank for my other growing monsters. And, the catfish poop a LOT...more than my 15" pleco in there. Whatever you decided, make sure to have heavy duty filtration, which I'm sure you already have on it due to the oscars and pleco
