240gallon tank question

for a tank that big do any1 of use guys use a python? how do u guys keep water at 7.0 and not have high alk and hardness w/o putting in the lfs stuff.

Most people just leave their PH at what it is out of the faucet. Consistency is more important than the actual number. Other than making sure water is properly treated, just strive for consistent numbers. I use a python on my 400G central system. Although I do not have to do that often because I use a drip system as well.
