This is my 24g nano, 20lbs of rock, 15lbs of sand. Nothing is alive right now.
Equipment, 150watt metal halide w/ x2 antic/ x2 bluemoon. 14'' hang off the back refridgium w/ crappy skimmer. I have about 5lbs of rubble in it right now. I will add macro to it once I get a light for it. x2 aqueon circulating pumps @500gph with a standard 250gph power head. I am going to get new power heads once i have the money but they work fine right now.
I have no made a decision on stocking yet but I have an idea of just a pair of clowns and a BTA along with a few soft corals.

This image is with the filtration chamber on. since I got the Hang off the back refridgium I just ripped it off.

Let me know what you think, any ideas or concerns/ recommendations will be great.

Hmm...interesting. Not a bad idea...that CPR should be decent filtration for the whole thing.

Aren't you worried that having the halide directly sitting on the tank like that will fry whatever you put inside?

It's not A CPR it's from aquatraders along with the light.

Possibly a pair of clowns and a nem

I am worried, it just temporary untill I get a hanging kit but it was designed to sit on the tank which Is unusual.

Aha...the CPR clone...knew a guy that bought this. It doesnt come with instructions, or didnt...so either have the general knowledge, or be prepared to talk with customer service.

Customer service used to be better at AT, but who knows what it is now.

This unit if it IS a good CPR clone should work fine. My buddy never got his to work, but he was/is an idiot.

haha they are clones. your right, anything from AT never comes with instructions at all but was not hard to set up. Im going to switch out the pump and see if a needle wheel impeller works better than the venturi on it so I gotta get some fittings. But i think if you buy anything from AT better have some common sense and patients.

It actually is pulling skimmate and that's probably cause i swapped out the pump so I'm happy with it.

Well done...pour some into a cup and take a picture...

What sort of consistency? Chunks in it? Color?

I love my EV. Its pulling chunks, and the stuff smells worse than any other skimmate I have ever had. It also is pure black. Awesome unit, even after my chop top "mod" :D
