$25 CL 180 gallon Tank UPDATE!!

If you saw my other thread, you read that I was lucky enough to pick up a 180 gallon tank with lids and stand for $25 a few weeks ago. Well, here it is set up with water, filtration, lights, background and driftwood. I'm waiting for the heaters to arrive in the mail this weak, and just added the comets to keep the cycle rolling. I haven't decided on substrate, but I'm thinking that I can give it a nice river bottom look with some smooth stones from a local landscaping place. They're old river rocks pulled from a sand quarry, but I have to find out some more about them first, so check back for more updates.

I'll be honest, it's really nice.



oh, and that driftwood is pretty large, the 2nd piece I would put at 35-40lbs. The first one is just really long.
