Let me update my 5 yrs old male P. endlicheri congicus. It's already 25" from head to tail. I once thought it's stopped growing after it reached 22". It's really thick, and is about twice the diameter as other bichir tankmates (even the 22" congicus). Since the black gravels was moved, its color turns lighter a bit.
You can tell how bulky it is (the weeksii is about 16")
It's weird that it's the most active bichir among other bichirmates in the tank.
