250 gal tank ideas

So a possible client of mine has a 250 gal planted community aquarium. Hes considering making the change to a cichlid tank. I personally am a big fan of south american cichlids and would love to set him up with a tank like that. But before i start planning and throwing out some suggestions to him I figured id ask my fellow MFK members for some other suggestions. Fill me in people!

i would go with central american cichlids in a lake nicaragua theme lots of rocks and branches

north american centrarchidae make for a great tank. and mine have yet to destroy all my plants the was my SA cichlids did. if my oscar could move it, he did.
active, interesting, and colorful. plus no heater saves me money.

If hes got a really nice 250g planted community, I think he might regret the change haha. Unless of course he is just ready for something new.

Yea i think hes over his original set up and looking to make a total change. I also had mentioned the SA's habit of rippin out plants. But their all very fun fish to have!
