I am planning my stock for my 250 gallon. I was gonna do mono peAcock bass but have revrted to the original tanganyika plan. New stock idea though:

60-80 shell dwellers either stappersii, gold ocellatus,or multies
5-7 julies
3 calvus
20 leptosoma

To much? I'm not sure. I just like the idea of tons of shellies.

Opinions?

What are the dimensions?

Try and aim for some of the larger Shelldwellers so the Calvus won't eat the adults.

Try for larger Cyps as well, for the same reason.

Maybe do 2 groups of larger shellies maybe around 20 in each group. And then some sandsifters.

Also juliis don't mix so well with eachother, but if the tanks decorated right and long enough, you should be good.

Edit: I see you chose Leptosoma for the Cyps, they would be big enough.

6 long 3 tall 2 wide

What ate some of my options for larger shelldwellers and also for sandsifters?

Sandsifters:

Just look through and see if there's anything that really catches your eye.

What's something in the four to six inch range that would work?

They're larger than that, but how about some Benthochromis? Some of the best looking Tangs out there.
