260 g Acrylic Tank Price

I have been looking for a large acrylic tank on Craigslist, but haven't had much success. I found an LFS that sells custom tanks. They quoted me $1800 for an 84x30x24 / 260 gallon acrylic tank. Is this a good price?

Yes used is good but, in Florida big tanks don't come as cheap as other states.. I had my 240 made for 1200 but, I don't know if he still builds tanks..

84"x30" tanks are custom made. And custom made means more money to shed when buying new. I've been looking around California for that tank size for about 6 months n trust me, used tanks that size don't come along. Finding a used 240g or 300g is easy and they usually come at a fair price, but I cant fit a 8 feet tank in my home.

The price you posted for a new 84"x30"x24" is about the same price I got quoted for too. Give or take, close to $1800-$2000 for a new one in Cali. I am not in a rush to buy though.
