So i just recently broke down my 265 and am in the process of resealing and rescaping it. I am going for a SA planted community with groups of Angels, Cories, and Tetra's. I would like to add some Geos and maybe some other fish as well. Any stocking suggestions? There will be lots of cave and rockwork as well as driftwood. I was considering maybe some ancistrus? Maybe some dwarf's (apisto's, ram's)? Anybody done something like this with a large tank and what suggestions would you have?

Not really my cup O tea with the angels and tetras but I do like Cory’s and geos- with a tank that size a groups of altifrons would look amazing cruising around- maybe some heckelii uptop?
In a different direction pellegrini are some of my favorite “geos” maybe some atros and festivum for the upper portions?

Guianacara species are quite interesting and would work well with the type of stock you are planning.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I was leaning towards the angels for size mostly. I do like Heckelii but at full size I wouldn't be able to have many, plus kiss the tetras goodbye. I'd rather have a larger group of smaller fish with a few exceptions. If I could find Altifrons I’d take a smaller group of them over the Tapajos. Uaru are out as the plants wouldn't stand a chance. Definitely looking to have the staples:

12 Peppered Corys
40 Neon Tetras
20 Black Neon Tetras
6 Super Red Ancistrus
As for the mid / top of the tank I want something that will be fairly active but not too large as to decimate the tetra population. Would it be possible to mix a group of Angels & a group of Keyholes?
For the bottom: I’m thinking a group of Geophagus Altifrons if I can find them or Tapajos if I can’t, as well as a group of Biotadoma Cupido.
Can anyone help with the numbers of these (groups/trios/pairs/etc.)?
