265 Gallon Stand Question - Bowing

I just purchased a 265 tank and stand. The stand came in damaged. One corner was split, the middle piece of wood that goes from front to back was not nailed. NowI went to Lowes and got some hardware such as 4 corner brackets to brace the corners and cut 2 piece os stell to lay on the inside of the tank next to the middle piece of wood. I now have the tank on the stand. This tank actually sits inside the stand. My question is, the middle is bowing out some, is that normal? Everything is secure, I actually got inside the tank and moved around a bit trying to hear for cracks or whatever and it felt sturdy. But I dont weigh as much as 265 gallons of water. What do you all think? The stand is oak I'm assuming not the pressboard. Would you all trust it?
 
If it came in damaged I would get a new one, but also could be fine with bracing. I'd want to be sure before setting it up and have it give way
 
Photo's please.... its hard to imagine with out photos.

Maybe you can just improvise the bowing and not have to build a new stand.
 
Well its standing still. After looking over and over, I figured that theres no way for it to bust and after talking to several different people. Where the stand is bowing, I cant move it any more because the wieght of the tank. I heard a lot of cracking while it filled up, stopped the water and took a look around and didnt see anything so I figured it was just the wood, joints etc, from filling up. I will be adding fish tomorrow if its still up when I get home, which Im sure it is
 
Are you using an Instant Cycle type product before adding fish?

What type of fish are you planning on having in this tank? We would love to see some pics of the tank & stand. What are the dimensions?

I added 50% of the water from my other tank and added bio-boost along with 2 filters from my other tanks already in use.

Im making one tank the PBass and Dat tank and other tank is GG's and misc fish such as Tig, Flagtails, Paratilapai, Festae, Fire Eels, Exotic Plecos, etc
