Well my tank is just about cycled with a 90 sump using the sicce 10, 2500 gph pump.

What do you guys think of this stock?

2 x vieja synspilum

2x bichir

1 x Salvini

1 x peacock bass

1 x arowana or jardini

I know the bass and the arowana get pretty big, I would like to at least do one or the other. And I definitely want the pair of the vieja's. I've also thinking about some of the smaller american cichlids like fire mouths, green terror, or maybe a pair of the larger geophagus earth eater

Please give some suggestions! Thank you

-the driftwood and plants for the tank is still on its way

From what I've read the jar will eventually kill everything. But that is an awesome tank! Can't wait to see it stocked.

If I were you, I would keep more than just one fish for each specie. Unless they are super-aggressive or territorial toward their own kind. I understand keeping just one fish of the same specie for more diversity, but some fish live more at peace and stress-free with tank mates that look like them. For example, you should keep a few pbass instead of just one IMO.

Peacock bass completely depends on the type you are going to get. If you go for a smaller type like Kelberi you'd be much better off. Tems and Pinima are def a no go and monos grow pretty large too. Could get away with a Orino for a very long time. Just do your research before you go buying a pbass. They have specific water temps and will eat anything that will fit in there mouth.

Species tanks are just lovely.... don't know what would a group of synspilum look like maybe with colony of clown loaches!
The peach face of synspilum are very appealing.
