I have two largemouth bass, two sun fish, 3 different sucker type fish a redtail catfish a blue catfish. And some little perch. All the fish are great together just want some pointers I'm new to the page here and I've had this take running for 2 months or so. Biggest tank I've had. Before my biggest was 75g. Just looking for anyone to say anything to help me out. I've got it all down just always can use others knowledge. Thanks!

Welcome.
I don't mean to be negative, what with you being new here. Have you looked at the adult sizes of the fish you are keeping?
The red tail catfish alone will dwarf a 265 gallon.
I think you need to rethink your stock.

Welcome to MFK,
Agree with Stanz, the redtail cat and the blue cat will both need much larger tanks (ponds really) down the road. Not sure if you were already aware of that. The 265 is a good sized tank and may last them a while depending on their current size, but these are fish that are damn near impossible to house in captivity.
General advice, if you don't already have one you should get a python water changer- weekly changes on a tank that size would be insane without one. Just stay on top of your maintenance and the fish should stay happy.

Yes well aware of the RTC size, I have a place to take him when that size comes for now he looks small in the tank, but is growing fast. Very aware of the fish sizes I have. When the time comes he will have a bigger home. Not to worry my friend. My intent on my tank is to keep two LMB. That's all I wanted it for and the tank was free I couldn't help but pick it up. Did a full reseal of the tank and got it up and running now for two months. It isn't a drilled tank so I have running on it two cascade canisters and a small pool filter. What do you think?

Yes I know the future sizes thanks for the concern and I do weekly water changes I have homes already in mind for them when they do get to size. The redtail was gifted to me as a baby and has grown rapidly. Just something fun for the time being to watch grow. Just want 2 LMB in the tank with my plecos.

Ok good, sounds like a nice setup, could you take a picture? Interested in seeing the LMB's. You caught them yourself I am assuming?
Yes caught them my self there is a local store that sells them but didn't look healthy. And there was a little gully by the house that was drying up and these two bass were stuck in a small pool of water. So figured I'd save them. I'll have to get some better pics later.

Nice, the tank looks good! Good of you to save the bass from drying out, that would have been sad. I wish somebody would give me a free 265 gallon, I wouldn't be able to pass it up either
